Project of the Traffic Interchange of the 16th Station
The team of architects at the initiative of URBAN BURO proposes and presents a preliminary concept for the development of the area of the square at the 8th station of Lyustdorf Road.
Project Description
The team of specialists from Urban Buro has developed a project for the traffic interchange at the 16th station of 'Velykyi Fontan', focused on improving the conditions for vehicular and pedestrian traffic to the coastal infrastructure of Odesa city.
The analysis of the driveways and adjacent streets revealed the following issues:
Parking and Traffic Safety
Blocking the movement of emergency services!
Narrow two-lane street with constant congestion.
Chaotic parking despite prohibitive signs.
No parking spaces for people in wheelchairs. No road markings.
Unauthorized parking without clear organization.
Pedestrian Logistics
Lack of safe crossings.
No pedestrian zone to the shoreline.
This solution was presented at a session of the Kyiv District Administration and to residents of the surrounding areas.
Its implementation will allow: the creation of new parking spaces; improvement of safety and comfort for residents and guests of the city; minimization of congestion and chaotic car parking on Zolotyi Bereh Street.
The implementation is being carried out in collaboration with various experts to ensure effective and practical changes.
